On Friday night, we headed downtown for the "Red, White, & Boom" fireworks display by the riverfront. I must admit, they were pretty impressive. Even more impressive to me, were the crowds of people. I have never seen downtown Peoria so vibrant and crowded in my 6 years here. We watched the fireworks with Matt, Nikki and Drew. Drew took an extra long nap during the day so he could stay up super late to watch the fireworks. He seemed very entertained and captivated. The only sound out of him was "uh-oh" whenever there was a break in the show.
