So last night we got this much talked about ice storm. It did leave about 1/2" of ice on everything. So we decided to go out and look around this morning. We got Greta all bundled up to head out, then I laid her in her carseat while we got boots, hats, etc. By the time we were ready, she was sound asleep. So she just napped in her carseat right inside the back door while Sam and I did stuff outside.
Luckily, we didn't have any damage to trees or vehicles. Suprising considering how big some of our trees are. There were lots of limbs and branches down at neighbors though. All we had was one branch drooping over Sam's truck and some littler trees that were bent over as shown in the next 2 pics.
The remaining photos are just shots of around the house that looked cool and some of the damage at our neighbors houses.

Oh my goodness....were you lucky!! This give you time to think about tree trimming, etc in preparation for the next ice storm. This is exactly what we had a week or so ago. I'm glad you had POWER. Take good care driving!! Much love,
