Sister Sara's visit

This past week was awesome. Sam's sister Sara stayed with us for a whole week. First of all, she showed up with coolers full of baked goods. She brought cookies, oreo & nutterbutter truffles, cake drops, angel food cake, blond brownies, bars, and banana bread. It was just massive quantities of sweet food. Thankfully Sam took some to work for his buddies, so we didn't just sit around eating it all. Also Sara cooked meals for Sam and I. I think Sam may have got spoiled and be expecting it now. She made us pad thai, our favorite rosemary potatoes, omelettes, awesome apple dip, and cheesy potatoes.
But the best part of having her here was having another adult to talk to during the day and all the help she was with Greta. I was able to run so many errands while she watched G. I went to the dentist, doctor, checked out a couple daycare centers and even bought a new car. All of those things would have been much more difficult with the baby along. Plus having Sara here meant we outnumbered Sam and could watch tv shows like Project Runway!
We wish we could afford to have Sara be our full time nanny. Greta loved having her here.
